LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday announced Patron’s XI and Chairman XI squads for the three Twenty20 practise matches to be played on May 20, 21 and 22 here at the Gaddafi Stadium. A spokesman for the PCB said the matches were being organised to give enough practise to the national team before the Twenty20 World Cup starting from June 5 in England. “All matches will start at 7:00pm under lights,” added the spokesman.
Squads:
Patrons XI: Salman Butt, Ahmed Shahzad, Younis Khan (captain), Shoaib Malik, Fawad Alam, Yasir Hameed, Sarfraz Ahmed, Mohammad Amir, Sohail Tanveer, Yasir Shah, Shoaib Akhtar, Umar Amin, Karman Younis and Imran Ali.
Chairman XI: Shahzaib Hassan, Nasir Jamshaid, Kamran Akmal, Misbahul Haq (captain), Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez, Azhar Ali, Wahab Riaz, Rao Iftikhar Anjum, Saeed Ajmal, Umar Gul, Aizqaz Cheema and Zulfiqar Jan.
